From Emanuel Martinez's personal collection: Page from an unknown newspaper. Recto: "Response to 'dignified' Mexican-Americans"; article about an upset member of the Chicano movement criticizing Mexican-American citizens for their lack of partipation and support of the Chicano movement. "SAFEWAY - AGRIBUSINESS LINK IS EXPOSED"; article by an anonymous writer at "El Malcriado" newspaper in partnership with the UFWOC, about the mal practices of Safeway continuing to purchase grapes in the midst of the Delano Grape Strike that took place from 1965 to 1970. "Commitment Gap" article by a freshman high school student named Eddie Rios discussing his displeasure with the wage gap and educational gap between Mexican-American citizens. Verso: "Chicano Poetry" featuring poems "labios secos" by Salomon R. Baldenegro, "Saly, Dick and Jane" by Graciela Soto, "how long the wait" by Raul Grijalva (U of A), "la solitud de mi eternidad" by Salomon R.
