Handwritten monogram notes: A Peruvian dog for a lady who does weaving // Indian mask for a child's paper / Handwritten note in pen: My dear Nellie: I just reached home Saturday morning, and of course have had loads to do since, but have caught up with my work now. Miss P? rode to Denver with me. I had her out to dinner Sunday and took her out to Fitz simmons Hospital to see Emma McCartney. She leaves - or has left - this afternoon for Los Angeles. I had never met her before, (?) formed her a very lovely lady, and am glad to have had a chance to (?) her. She said she had recently spent a night with you, and had agreed with me that you are the grandest hostess ever. I did have such a nice time with you - as I always did and hope I may have you here (?) (?). Here's Bill so I must finish dinner. I'll have to apologize for this paper - which was a sheet I had left that I could (?) use. These are a few samples of the Indian designs in monograms, which I originated = (this manner of using them). I mean. I'm also enclosing a few proofs of various other linoleum block cuts I have made. I'm entirely out of papers to make (?) in letter form. They do some of the block cutting at the University, if you care to go up some time to see how they are done. I don't know anyone who would be more interested than you, in the whole process. I have so many more letters to write - that I must do it before I become too sleepy to finish! Thanks so much for all the lovely things I enjoyed with you. Write to me some time, too. Remember me to Edna. With Love, Ida // P.S. I missed (?) entirely, (?) Ethel Sloan tells me she is "expecting" again. I do hope she will have no trouble this time. She was so greatly disappointed last year.
