Work Description:
Cloud-Capped Peak (Guanyun Feng), name of tall rock from Lake Tai (Jiangsu) in garden. Believed to have been found by a Northern Song (960-1127) collector. Rocks from this lake were highly prized. The limestone from Lake Tai is perforated and eroded by a combination of the lake s chemical composition and years of wave and water erosion.
