"Emily Arthur Douglass is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Art. Emily has taught at UNF since 2001 where she has been instrumental to the development of new curriculum for UNF students called "Painting, Drawing + Printmaking" and has developed an expanded printmaking studio. Emily holds a Masters Degree in Printmaking from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and has studied at the Tamarind Institute in Albuquerque, NM. She is the recipient of multiple grants including a grant provided by the National Endowment for the Arts and was named a "Notable Woman in the Arts" by the National Museum of Women in Washington, DC. Her artwork work can be found in permanent collections including the Denver Art Museum, the University of Arizona, the University of Colorado, Kansas City Arts Institute and University Library special collections in New York, Virginia, and Missouri. International collections include Japan, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Russia, Estonia, and France."
