Work Creator notes (display):
"I was born in Istanbul in 1979. I moved to Florence in 1998 to study art. I completed a two years graphic design and illustration certificate program in Lorenzo de`Medici. In 1999, I entered to the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence (Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze) with the highest degree among the appliers, and graduated from Adriano Bimbi`s painting class with cum laude in 2006. The same year, I was awarded with a governmental scholarship to get my masters degree, and I finished the 1400 hours printmaking specialization course offered by il Bisonte in Florence. In 2007 I returned back to Istanbul, and until 2010 worked in various universities teaching drawing, printmaking and art history classes. Since 2011 I am writing to e-Skop (www.e-skop.com), an online art history and critic journal, and working with art historian Ali Artun."
