Emilie Luckett is a MA student in Art History at the University of Colorado – Boulder, where she is currently the MA Mellon Fellow for the Mellon Sawyer Seminar, Deep Horizons: Making Visible an Unseen Spectrum of Ecological Casualties & Prospects. Her practice is based on exploring how art-making interacts with activist movements, and the impact art/artists can have in creating socio-political change. She is particularly interested in the art being made by collectives/collaboratives working within the themes of futurism, gender, and the environment.
