Manual for My Future Lover

detail view of page of manual
Work Description:
Thesis abstract: Manual for my future lover is born out of the idea of longing, desire, and self-understanding. It is based on a simple idea, to establish a comprehensive instructional guide that uses testable explanations from my life. It is intended as an autobiographical summation of the entirety of my character and personality. The handbook takes the form of a written manual with table of contents, illustrative drawings, and an index. It is also displayed as an installation with both interactive and non-interactive sculptures. These discrete objects act as physical diagrams embodying the complex ideas and issues comprised within the manual.
