Steven Rosen graduated from the University of Michigan with his bachelor's degree in 1972. He later received his MS in journalism from Northwestern University. Rosen began his journalism career at the Cincinnati Enquirer, where he worked as a reporter for eleven years. In 1989, he became a reporter for the Denver Post. Here, Rosen held the positions of art critic and movie critic. Since 2003, he has worked as a contributing visual arts editor for the Cincinnati CityBeat, while also writing film, music, and features stories for the newspaper.
