Work Creator notes (display):

"It was Sept. 6, 1966, after a buildup of several months, a daily newspaper the Citizen Tribune was born. The paper was created to serve the eight-county Lakeway Region, providing news coverage on a wider basis and helping the paper’s advertisers reach a wider audience. Through the ensuing decades, the Tribune has documented the Region’s growth, from its development as a furniture and textile manufacturing mecca to its rebirth as a diverse manufacturing hub and budding tourism destination."
